Human Cyborg Relations: The C-3PO Custom Bust Art Show

I curated this exhibition for Sideshow's Star Wars Celebration showcase, inviting nearly 30 artists, designers, and creators from around the world - including Hot Toys, cosplayer Alicia Marie, and Tested.com's Norman Chan and Kayte Sabicer - to each reinterpret a blank C-3PO bust into a fully one-of-a-kind piece.

I managed artist outreach and served as creative liaison from invitation through final submission, working directly with each contributor on concept and execution across sculpture, fabric, light-up effects, and more, while Sideshow's events and multimedia teams brought the physical and virtual exhibition to life. The show benefited FIRST, a nonprofit dedicated to inspiring the next generation of STEM learners, with a donation made in honor of every completed bust.
